(Click to enlarge image) HVMC (HVOF & Thermal Spray Masking Compound) is quick to apply, easy to cleanly remove, and in many cases is reusable. This compound, when deployed correctly, will resist all forms of HVOF coatings including high energy liquid fuel systems. This material is ideal for making reusable masking plugs, molds, caps, and sleeves. The compound will also bond to the surface of HVMT Orange to produce a very solid mask that can be used for complex shapes as a primary masking option.

This two-part silicone putty is used to mask holes, depressions, and channels etc. and can be used to produce intricate masking caps and sleeves. The putty cures at room temperature in less than 7 minutes to a silicone rubber with a Duro 55. The compound resists all forms of grit blast, thermal spray and HVOF coating. The putty holds up well in both liquid fuel and air fueled spray systems; Diamond Jet, JetKoat, JP-5000 / 8000, and GTV K2. This product is qualified BY the main Aviation Engine OEMs.
