Grillo-Werke AG, headquartered in Duisburg, Germany is a major industrial group established in 1842 and counts 1,600 employees worldwide. Grillo is a substantial producer of a variety of zinc products and their four business divisions are Chemicals, Metal, Zinc Oxide and Rheinzink.

The Metal Division produces finished and semi-finished products made of zinc and its alloys, i.e., wires, strips, rods, powder, anodes, ZEP®, ZAMAK® and is the largest producer in the world of various grades of zinc wire for corrosion protection.

Grillo has been a regular supplier for more than six decades of mainly pure zinc wire as well as 85 Zn / 15 AL wire for the metallizing (arc and flame spraying) of steel structures (such as bridges, cast iron pipes and wind power plants) around the world, including the U.S.
