APPLICATIONS
2905 is a very versatile tape. Applications range from general industry electrical maintenance to high-temperature splicing and wrapping. Some specific applications for 2905 are over-wrap on motor rewinds, protective wrapping for wire and cables and high-temperature masking tape for welding stainless steel. Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics 2905 also performs as a light duty plasma or flame spray masking tape.

2905 is an exceptionally strong abrasion resistant tape providing maximum solvent resistance. It has excellent temperature resistance and is thermally stable. It can be used in applications that require continuous temperatures of up to 500F.
