Our new SprayCam system is the simple, low cost particle imaging and diagnostic system designed specifically for Thermal Spray. SprayCam is the solution to ensure process consistency and reliability in Thermal Spray Processes. Any changes in primary and secondary gas flow rates, carrier gas injection flow rates, particle size distributions, anode and cathode wear will cause a detectable change in the position of the particles in the plasma. SprayCam will detect this change and alert the operator. In addition operators will have real time visual feedback on many of the important parameters which affect coating consistency. Just 10 seconds before and after a part is sprayed will give you the confidence that your torch is operating optimally. SprayCam is also useful in optimizing deposition efficiency and powder injection for new processes.
