Product Overview

Vacuum Coating

The high-vacuum coating process (PVD process) is used for coating materials with a very thin metal layer of 2-5 µm.
The application of ultra-thin layers of aluminium, copper, tin, gold or silver allows the creation of various metal effects such as aluminium, special steel, old brass or gold effects. Furthermore, wear-resistant protection against corrosion is achieved.

The decorative metallisation of synthetic materials by means of vacuum coating significantly extends the possibilities for creating material surfaces. For example, metal parts can be replaced by synthetic materials in parts or in full. Vacuum coating is used for example in the automotive industry and for the housings of mobile phones.
