Product Overview

Polymer coating

The use of special polymers (e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene) allows the creation of hydrophobic surfaces and the effective prevention of the sticking of various substances such as adhesives, rubber, synthetic materials or food ingredients to these surfaces. The targeted alteration of the surface structure using defined roughness profiles enhances the non-stick effect by reducing the contact area (e.g. Teflon coating, PTFE, PFA).
Due to the use of our special infusion process, our polymer coatings and fluoropolymer coatings are particularly well anchored mechanically to the substrate. Additional enhancement layers allow the creation of non-stick coatings with improved sliding properties and/or high wear resistance.

Polymer coatings are applied to aluminium, steel, special steel, copper, ceramics, synthetic materials, etc. They are temperature-resistant up to approx. 280°C and FDA-approved and are therefore used primarily for food production (e.g. containers, multi-head scales, frying pans).
